About
Co-creation for Sustainability (Tomosiru) is currently maintained and managed by Yuko Onishi, Associate Professor at Institute for Advanced Research and Education of Doshisha University. Her lectures and research focus on collaboration and co-creation by people with diverse backgrounds in addressing sustainability challenges.
This website aims at gathering and sharing useful knowledge for co-creation and collaboration between researchers and the stakeholders of environmental or societal problems.
Academically, ‘co-creation’ between researchers and the stakeholders has been studied by the term ‘transdisciplinarity’, so this website also includes the concept and practice from transdisciplinary research. The website also includes information on environmental issues, as a common understanding of the base environmental issues is important for co-creation.
Co-creation for Sustainability was originally developed by the Co-creation project (implementation between April 2020 – March 2023) of the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature (RIHN).
