Course Summary
Global Resource Management and Sustainable Development Goals 1 and 2 are the courses that examine the background and the current status of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and provide students opportunities to reflect upon their own research, activities, and everyday life against the challenges that we are facing.
Students undertaking GRM&SDGs2 will carry out a group project to organise an SDGs workshop in Kyoto.
GRM&SDGs1 and 2 can be taken individually. A crash course on SDGs basics will be given to the students enrolling only GRM&SDGs2.

【Class of GRM&SDGs2 2024】
Doshisha students and workers at Toyo Tires Ltd. joined “GRM and SDGs 2” in 2024. They organised a workshop with quizzes on food loss and waste management at “Kyoto Satoyama SDGs Lab” in Keihoku region in Kyoto-city.
