The Sustainability Research & Innovation Congress 2022 (SRI2022) (https://sri2022.org), an international conference hosted by Future Earth and the Belmont Forum, will be held June 20-24, 2022, in Pretoria, South Africa.

The co-creation project team will organize a session on transdisciplinary (TD) research and TD at the conference. In this session, we will examine the limitations of current TD research and how it differs from similar studies to clarify the concept of TD research. We will also review TD research in Asia while comparing it with other regions and discuss future directions with participants.
